MARSHALLOY MQ®/FM, exclusively by Precision Marshall Steel, is a mold quality steel supplied in the Pre-hardened condition 280-321 BHN (Maximum variation within any plates is 30 BHN). Special melting and refining practices are utilized to produce a uniform product with exceptional cleanliness. These characteristics allow MARSHALLOY MQ®/FM to be polished to an extremely high finish required for plastic molding. The balanced composition ensures uniform cross-sectional hardness and is guaranteed to maintain the specified hardness throughout the plate. MARSHALLOY MQ®/FM provides superior machinability while demonstrating outstanding cleanliness and soundness. It may be successfully substituted for P20 for plastic injection mold applications in addition to its usefulness in a wide range of mechanical applications, including short run tools and dies.

4140 Annealed is a high-quality, 4140 alloy steel intended for all mechanical uses where improved machinability, uniform hardness and excellent flatness are required.

Marshalloy Standard is a pre-hardened, high quality, 4140/4142 modified, alloy steel intended for all mechanical uses where improved machinability, uniform hardness and excellent flatness are required. Product hardness range 262-321 Brinell.

A2 is an air hardening tool steel which provides a good combination of wear resistance, toughness, ease of heat treatment and minimum distortion.

D2 is an air hardening tool steel which provides exceptional wear resistance with medium toughness, ease of heat treatment and minimum distortion.

O1 is a general purpose, non-deforming oil hardening tool steel for applications where maximum accuracy is required during the hardening of the end product. O1 has deep hardening properties and a fine grain structure with unusual toughness.

S7MQ is a premium shock resistance tool steel which provides unique combination of machinability, exceptional toughness, ease of heat treatment and minimum distortion. Special melting and refining practices are utilized to produce a uniform product with high cleanliness and minimum segregation. The material is tested to rigorous tool steel standards to ensure uniformity of structure and freedom from defects.

S7 Standard is a shock resistance tool steel which provides unique combination of machinability, exceptional toughness, ease of heat treatment and minimum distortion. Special melting and refining practices are utilized to produce a uniform product with high cleanliness and minimum segregation. The material is tested to rigorous tool steel standards to ensure uniformity of structure and freedom from defects.

H13 is an excellent hotwork tool steel, featuring a combination of shock and resistance, red hardness and abrasion resistance.
