Thomas R. Sedlak

Chief Executive Officer

Tom Sedlak joined Precision Marshall in early 2008 as the Controller, since then he has held positions as the Vice President of Operations and Senior Vice President before becoming the CEO in July 2020. Prior to joining Precision Marshall Mr. Sedlak held Controllership roles with PPG Industries and DQE Energy Services. His background includes turnaround management, finance, and strategy across several manufacturing industries.

Mr. Sedlak earned a bachelor’s degree from Robert Morris University and an MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.

Michael Valeri, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Mike Valeri joined Precision Marshall, in early 2019, as Controller. Prior to joining the Company, he worked in public accounting with one of the top 20 firms in the Pittsburgh area, for over 23 years, with more than 14 of those years in management. He has experience in accounting & auditing, as well as tax, with a focus on corporate manufacturing companies, including Precision Marshall.

Mr. Valeri earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from La Roche College. He obtained his CPA license, from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.

Phil Herrle

Manager of Process Enhancement and Client Integration

Phil Herrle has served Precision Marshall in various capacities since 2012 with a focus on utilizing technology to optimize all areas of the organization.

Before joining Precision Marshall full time, he worked as a technology consultant in a wide range of industries. He has nearly 30 years I.T. experience including ERP management, programing, and cyber security.

Phil earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Science from Robert Morris University.

Matt Wehner

Sales Manager

Matt Wehner joined Precision Marshall in December 2023 as a Sales Manager. Matt has over twenty years of experience in the steel industry, with leadership roles in procurement, project management, and sales.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, an MBA, and a Master of Science in Information Systems from Duquesne University.

Rob Sprowls

Manager of Operations

Rob started his tenure with Precision Marshall as a GFS Cell Associate where he played an important role in Precision’s operational performance overhaul and moved into a Group Leader position. He later accepted the position of MES Coordinator where he was instrumental in the success of a major ERP implementation. He has led many initiatives at Precision to improve efficiency and output including the startup of production expansions.

Rob has continually demonstrated his qualifications through accomplishments that have strengthened the company.

Adam Helphenstine

Manager of Materials

Adam Helphenstine joined Precision Marshall in 2012 as a Precision Ground Flat Stock Associate. Adam progressed throughout his tenure at Precision Marshall holding positions as the Ground Flat Stock Group Leader, Inside Sales Associate, and most recently as the Manager of Materials responsible for all raw material procurement.

Jana Brinlee

Manager of Distribution Systems

Jana Brinlee joined Precision Marshall in 2022 as the Manager of Distribution Systems for our distribution center in Bolingbrook, Illinois. She brings over 20 years of extensive experience in team leadership, process control, and all aspects of inventory management from warehousing through fulfillment.

Before joining Precision Marshall, she held several management positions in supply chain, materials procurement, strategic inventory planning, and warehouse management.

Jana earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL
